The Women’s Half Marathon Scottsdale-Tempe is a point-to-point event starting in Old Town Scottsdale and finishing in Tempe Beach Park. The event will provide complimentary bus service for half marathon participants Half marathon participants are encouraged to park near the finish line in ASU parking lot #59 (see map below) and take the free bus service from the ASU parking lot to the start line in Old Town Scottsdale. All half marathon participants are encouraged to use the bus service as limited parking is available at the start and buses will NOT return to the start line after the race. Bus service will run from 4:45am – 6:05am. In order to secure your spot, you must sign up at the expo for a specific time slot. You will then be given a color-coded wristband that corresponds to your bus departure time. The following time slots will be given on a first-come first-served basis:
Only participants with half marathon race bibs and wristbands will be allowed to board the bus. Race information continued below map...
How to use the WHM Bus Program
Special Note: Although there is NO post race transportation back to the starting line, special arrangements have been made for participants who are staying at the Expo Hotel, The Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort. A select number of buses will be at the finish line to transport Doubletree guests back to the hotel. Doubletree guests must have their bib number and be listed on the hotel room list. If you are staying at the hotel please make sure all guests in your room are listed on the hotel room list and are in the Women’s Half Marathon room block (you can confirm this information during your check in process). |
