Coach Susan Loken is, among other things, a mother, elite runner, mentor, coach and an inspiration to many. Susan started running 12 years ago at the age of 35, and has now competed in two U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials (going for the third!) and stolen many marathon master titles. Susan enjoys helping people become their personal best, and has coached more than 500 runners to marathon success. She is a NPTI-certified personal trainer and the lead running coach for the non-profit organization Chances for Children - Arizona, where she coaches fundraising teams hoping to provide children in her community a chance to get active and fit. Coach Lisa Pozzoni is a Certified Fitness Trainer and ChiRunning/Walking Instructor. She trains women to reach their weight and fitness goals. The ChiRunning method is a proven injury-free, energy-efficient way to run that anyone can do. Lisa specializes in training beginners to train for their first 5K or half marathon. Lisa’s 16-Week ChiRunning/Walking Half Marathon Training Program starts on July 17th. However she offers several other options that can help you train for the Women’s Half Marathon.
