Join Fit2Run, The Runner’s Superstore, for a 14-week Training Program to help you prepare for the 3rd Annual Women’s Half Marathon St. Petersburg to be held on November 20, 2011.

This informative and hands-on coaching clinic, led by coach Gary Robinson, will focus on providing personal attention, instruction and training at the beginning and intermediate levels. The training program begins August 9th at 6:30 p.m. at the Sarasota, Tampa and Wellington locations. The program costs $150 and will include the following benefits:

A veteran of over 150 races, including marathons, urban adventure races, triathlons, and recently, an ultra-marathon, Debbie is the founder of Run Tampa, a community of over 1,400 Tampa Bay area runners. She coaches experienced and beginning runners for the City of Tampa. Debbie derives particular satisfaction from working with women who were convinced they could never become runners and being at the finish line when they complete their first 5K. She encourages event hose beginning runners to make the Women's Half Marathon their long term goal. Debbie's Women's Half Marathon Training Program and 5k Training Program: Participants train up to three evenings per week at 6 p.m. at Al Lopez Park and meet for a weekend long run. Nicole has been in the fitness industry since 2000, working as a personal trainer, fitness manager and an owner of private studios. She has a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and a Masters degree in Human Movement with an emphasis on Sports Performance.

Nicole teaches continuing education courses for fitness and wellness professionals, as well as, clinics at local bike and running stores. Along with personal training and teaching, she and her husband also have a coaching service called Clark Endurance Training. Nicole actively trains and competes year round in half marathons and Olympic/Half Ironman Triathlon. Nicole and Nick own and operate Fitness Together in Lakewood Ranch, FL and live in University Park, FL with their two chocolate labs.

Clark Endurance Training provides sport-specific programming for individuals who aspire to complete an endurance event. Nicole’s goal is to inspire and change lives through endurance sports. Currently Clark Endurance Training has over 20 women training for the Women's Half Marathon in November, which meets twice a week in the Sarasota/Lakewood Ranch area, for speed and core workouts and long runs. Coach Nicole - Clark Endurance Training

Jackie Miller has been coaching for 5 years and is a USAT Certified Coach, Certified Personal Trainer and RRCA. She is a coach with the New Balance InMotion Beginning Running Program and is a partner at etricoach, which is a triathlon and running coaching company.

At etricoach, the programs are all encompassing, covering everything from the training for the race itself, through nutrition, pacing, race strategy and strength and conditioning. Running Programs can be in group format through individual one on one programs. In the past, Jackie has coached group programs for the Sarasota Half, the Palmer Ranch PAL Half and the Disney Half.

The Women's Half Marathon Program, for local athletes consist of approximately 4 runs per week, including a long run, tempo run, steady state run and hills or speed work. Nutrition, pacing and strategies would also be covered. The group would meet 1-2 times a week for group runs. For non local athletes, the program would be online through trainingpeaks, and Jackie would be available via phone calls, texts and email.

Online and Phone Coaching Programs:
Coach Christine is ready to provide online and phone coaching for participants of both the Women’s Running magazine Women’s Half Marathon and 5K. Individualized training plans, and personalized coaching, for either race will be provided to runners in any geographic area. These plans will be developed according to your individual needs and goals for the race. Runners have unlimited access to Coach Christine, as well as weekly email newsletters specific to this race, to ensure that training goes properly and you are ready to run your best effort in November.

Cost: $100 per month.
Beginners are encouraged to start training as early as possible.

Group Training:
For runners in and around the Baltimore and Annapolis MD area, there will be a 10-week training program for those registered to run the Women’s Running magazine Women’s Half Marathon. The program will include weekly training runs that will begin on September 12, 2009. All levels of runners are welcome and individuals will be grouped according to pace and experience. Each runner will receive a full 10-week training plan (beginner, intermediate or advanced). Every runner will also have unlimited access to Coach Christine, weekly newsletters, and mini-clinics on relevant topics, such as proper form, nutrition, stretching, etc.

Cost: $150 for the 10 weeks
