Join Fit2Run, The Runner’s Superstore, for a 15-week Training Program to help prepare for the Inaugural Women’s Running Magazine Half Marathon to be held on November 21nd, 2010 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

This informative and hands-on coaching clinic will focus on providing personal attention, instruction and training at the beginning and intermediate levels. For the low cost of $60, athletes will receive 15 weeks to include 4 weekly group runs along with weekly clinic topics like proper shoe fit, nutrition and hydration, stretching and injury prevention, proper running form, bra fitting, speed work, hill work, pacing, apparel, running electronics, essential running accessories, and foot care and injury prevention.

Lynn Gray, is a long distance runner having run more than 90 marathons. She has been an age group winner for over 25 years, and an All American Masters Track and Field recipient. Lynn has been coaching men and women to establish aerobic fitness through walking and running for over 20 years with her “Walk to Run” © programs. Currently she is the founder and President of “Take…The First Step,” a club that supports both walkers and runners of all ages in the Tampa Bay community. Lynn has both a Level I and II RRCA coaching certification. She recently published her first book: Fit and Faster – 100 workouts for the walker and runner.

Coach Jenny Hadfield is the co-author of Marathoning for Mortals and Running for Mortals. She is a nationally recognized speaker and writer and is co-owner of Chicago Endurance Sports. Coach Christine is a regular contributor to Women’s Running magazine and has also been seen in Runner’s World, Tri-DC and other local and regional publications. She has been competing herself for almost 30 years and has been coaching for 10. Coach Christine has experience with all levels of runners from beginners to regionally elite athletes.

Online and Phone Coaching Programs:
Coach Christine is ready to provide online and phone coaching for participants of both the Women’s Running magazine Women’s Half Marathon and 5K. Individualized training plans, and personalized coaching, for either race will be provided to runners in any geographic area. These plans will be developed according to your individual needs and goals for the race. Runners have unlimited access to Coach Christine, as well as weekly email newsletters specific to this race, to ensure that training goes properly and you are ready to run your best effort in November.

Cost: $100 per month.
Beginners are encouraged to start training as early as possible.

Group Training:
For runners in and around the Baltimore and Annapolis MD area, there will be a 10-week training program for those registered to run the Women’s Running magazine Women’s Half Marathon. The program will include weekly training runs that will begin on September 12, 2009. All levels of runners are welcome and individuals will be grouped according to pace and experience. Each runner will receive a full 10-week training plan (beginner, intermediate or advanced). Every runner will also have unlimited access to Coach Christine, weekly newsletters, and mini-clinics on relevant topics, such as proper form, nutrition, stretching, etc.

Cost: $150 for the 10 weeks

Carla Gregor is an RRCA-certified running coach who has been coaching for 10 years. Carla offers training programs for all levels of female runners and for all distances from 5k to the marathon. Carla is located in the Washington, D.C., area but does online coaching for runners all across the country as well as internationally. Carla can help you cross the finish line of The Women’s Running magazine Women’s Half Marathon or 5K!
